When the final remodel of Notre Dame is complete, it will look a bit different than visitors remember. The plan, which is being led by landscape architect Bureau Bas Smets, will feature an enlarged square behind the cathedral and a new park, an underground walkway, and a canopy of trees. “The project rethinks the emblematic public spaces around Notre Dame as a sequence of climatic atmospheres,” the firm wrote, adding “Compressed and imbricated around the Cathedral, these spaces frame new views towards Notre Dame, establish a new relationship with the Seine and offer new activities....

The Federal Aviation Administration is reviewing airplane seat sizes in an effort to determine if a minimum standard should be established. The agency, which will publish a notice in the Federal Register on Wednesday, will seek public comment for 90 days on the pitch, width, and length of passenger seats on aircraft in the United States, according to an unpublished notice from the FAA. The review is being done to determine if a minimum seat size is necessary for passenger safety....

Tiger Woods is back at home in recovery after spending weeks in the hospital following his Los Angeles single-vehicle car crash. Woods’ accident required frightening emergency surgery, but friends of the golf legend — as well as Woods himself — have said that he is feeling much better. During his time at the hospital, Woods reportedly didn’t want his two children, Charlie Axel and Sam Alexis, to visit him in order to protect them from the extent of his injuries....

According to Page Six, a source shared both Brady and Bündchen are currently in Miami, Florida waiting out Hurricane Ian, but the two are staying at separate homes. United Airlines and Emirates announced a strategic partnership on Wednesday that greatly expands the reach of both carriers. Starting in November, Emirates passengers flying into Chicago, Houston, and San Francisco — three of United’s largest hubs — will be able to connect to more than 200 cities in the United States via United, all on one ticket, according to the announcement. Passengers flying into the eight other U.S. airports serviced by Emirates, including LAX and JFK, will be serviced by an interline agreement....
