When it comes to large cities, Hotwire found New York City topped the list with its abundance of great food, wanderlust-inducing hotels, and endless hidden gems. British airline Virgin Atlantic updated its uniform policy, allowing staff to wear the clothing they feel represents them and introducing optional pronoun badges. Flight crew, pilots, and ground crew will be permitted to wear clothing they feel best represents them, regardless of their gender, gender identity, or gender expression, according to Virgin Atlantic. The uniform policy now also allows optional makeup as well as visible tattoos for crew members and front line staff....

Frontier Airlines is launching several new domestic and international routes from Atlanta, Denver, and Orlando, and has celebratory fares starting at just $69. To start, the Denver-based airline announced it’s launching international flights in November and December from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to Costa Rica, The Bahamas, El Salvador, and Jamaica. The new routes will more than double Frontier’s already existing international flights from Atlanta. With the new routes, which will each fly once or twice each week, Frontier will serve a total of 36 nonstop destinations from Atlanta....

Rental car company Hertz will order up to 175,000 more electric vehicles in the next several years from midsize SUVs to pickup trucks, luxury vehicles, and more. The order is part of an agreement with General Motors for Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Cadillac, and BrightDrop electric vehicles, according to Hertz. The agreement stretches over five years through 2027. “It’s exciting that two iconic American companies that have shaped the evolution of transportation for more than a century are coming together to redefine the future of mobility in the 21st century,” Stephen Scherr, Hertz’s CEO, said in a statement....
